Our mission
We want every reader to leave with a clear answer: what matters for the product they need, which options are worth considering, and which one fits their situation and budget.
How we choose products
We shortlist products based on what shoppers actually need, not on which brands pay the most. When building a guide we look at:
- Popular and well-rated options that are widely available
- Different budgets, from affordable picks to premium models
- Specific needs such as small spaces, beginners, heavy use or particular vehicles
- Known problems, recalls or recurring complaints that rule a product out
How we research
Our guides are research-driven. Depending on the topic, our sources include:
- Manufacturer specifications, manuals, fitment and compatibility data
- Warranty terms and official support documentation
- Large volumes of verified owner reviews, to spot patterns rather than one-off experiences
- Comparisons with similar products at the same price
- Hands-on use, when we have the product available
We look for patterns across sources and flag uncertainty when information is incomplete or inconsistent.
How we write our guides

The key recommendation or answer appears near the top, followed by the detail for readers who want it.

We explain who each product is best for and who should skip it.

Keep it practical
We use plain language, real-world scenarios and buying tips instead of marketing claims.

Flag what is uncertain
When information is incomplete or sources disagree, we say so instead of guessing.
Keeping guides up to date
Products are discontinued, prices change and new models arrive. We revisit our guides and update them when information changes. Each article shows the date it was last updated.
Corrections
We work hard to get things right, but mistakes can happen. If you spot an error, please email support@gomyreview.com with the article link and what needs fixing. We review every report and correct confirmed errors promptly.
