Key Features of the GOOLOO GT6000

Jump-starting power

The 6,000A peak rating puts it at the heavy-duty end of portable jump starters. GOOLOO lists cars, trucks, boats, RVs, tractors and commercial vehicles, provided they run a 12V system. It won’t work on 24V systems.

Safety protections

GOOLOO lists a 10-layer protection system including reverse-polarity, short-circuit, over-current, over-temperature, over/under-voltage and spark protection. The screen shows readiness and warnings, which helps if you rarely jump-start a car.

Boost mode

For a very flat battery the clamps may not detect voltage. GOOLOO’s instructions: connect the clamps correctly, press BOOST until “READY” shows solid, then start the vehicle within 30 seconds. The unit shuts off after 30 seconds if not used. Only use boost when you’re sure the clamps are on the right terminals.

Power bank and accessories

100W USB-C charges laptops, phones and tablets, and the same port recharges the GT6000. The 15V/10A DC output can run compatible tire inflators or other 12V-type accessories. GOOLOO also mentions a 7-minute charge giving enough power for one jump.

What’s in the Box

GOOLOO sells the GT6000 alone and in bundles (with a 100W wall charger, EVA storage case, tire inflator and more), so contents vary. Expect the jump starter and jumper clamps as a minimum, and check the listing for cables, charger and case before ordering.

How to Jump-Start a Car With the GT6000

  1. Charge the GT6000 fully before first use and keep it above about half charge in your car.
  2. Turn off the ignition, lights and accessories.
  3. Connect the red clamp to the battery’s positive (+) terminal and the black clamp to the negative (-) terminal or a bare metal ground point.
  4. Power on the unit and wait for the ready indicator on the screen.
  5. Start the engine. If it doesn’t start, wait before trying again rather than cranking repeatedly.
  6. Once running, remove the black clamp first, then the red one.

Safety: follow your vehicle manual and GOOLOO’s manual, wear eye protection, never connect to a cracked or leaking battery, and don’t leave the unit in a hot parked car for long periods.

Pros and Limitations

Pros (on paper):

  • High 6,000A peak rating covers large gas and diesel engines.
  • Fast 100W USB-C recharge and power bank use.
  • Clear 3.2-inch status screen.
  • IP65 rating and listed operating range down to -4°F.

Limitations:

  • At 4.44 lb it’s heavier than compact jump starters.
  • Overkill for a small car; a smaller unit may be cheaper and easier to store.
  • 12V only.
  • Peak amp ratings aren’t standardized across brands, so compare engine-size ratings rather than headline amps.

GOOLOO GT6000 vs Smaller Jump Starters

Need Good fit
Compact car, 4-cylinder gas A smaller jump starter is usually enough
V8 trucks, SUVs, diesel pickups GT6000-class unit
Fleet, farm or boat use GT6000-class unit (12V systems only)

Check current price and bundle options with the seller before buying.
